Are Blues now beaten

Yet again another defeat in a tight game but the one bit of quality from West Ham was unbelievable.

Blues for the first time now look beaten after Adriana’s goal went in.

In the fifth minute former blues player Claudia Walker had a chance but dragged her shot wide . Blues final ball was killing them the story of the season. The 1st change of the game came on 23 minutes but this was for the people in control and not the teams. The Lino suddenly went down and was stretched off. In the 35th minute the 1st Blues chnace came along . Lucy Quinn did some great work from a solo run with a good shot was well saved from Anna Leat. This was quickly followed by a Louise Quinn header which just went over the bar .

But the deadlock was broken before half time  from a corner from Katrina Svitkova and was passed into the net by the brilliant Adrianna Leon.

In 1st half stoppage time Lisa Robertson had a shot claimed by Leat and then Lucy Quinn had a shot went over the bar.

2nd Half !

After a quiet start to the 2nd half West Ham came closest in the 57th Minute when Katerina Svitková  had a right footed shot just go wide. Also a Kate Longhurst left footed shot from the centre of the box is saved in the bottom right corner in the 59th.

You could sense the frustration from the girls when a Holloway foul was given and more importantly when Libby Smith was substituted after working her socks off.

In the 81st minute Eleanor Ryan-Doyle shot was saved from the middle of the goal and this was followed by Blues last chance which fell for Veatriki Sarri, her left footed shot from outside the box was just too high from a direct free kick.

Onwards we go.
