Our final guests are

So on Monday we host our final show of the 20/21 season. This also bring to an end the most strange 12 months anyone has ever experienced. Our guests are a man who is Mr Blue, and a fan who has seen all highs and lows across over 60 years

Special Guest

Our special guest is the one and only Mr Blue himself Tom Ross. Known for his passionate commentary’s and his total passion for the game Tom has followed Blues through all Joys and Sorrows.

Tom started his his radio career with BBC Radio Birmingham (Now WM) with a pre season Birmingham game against Ajax. 4 years later Tom was offered his first role at BRMB working for Tony Butler. After 35 years working across BRMB/Free Radio Tom quit as they were no longer going to broadcast live games. Tom has continued to cover local games for Five Live and is now the head of media for BKBtm.

This will be Toms Hat-Trick appearance on the Tilton Talk Show. The previous two have been brilliant listening and the third will be no different.

Leighton Webster Fan Cam

Joining us on the Leighton Webster Fan cam is Alan Watton. Alan is a fan of over 60 years and so has seen all of highs and lows, Joys and Sorrows. We have asked Alan about his time as fan and this is what he has said

1st Game ?

First game Oct 1959 v Valencia Lost 3-2 (Friendly) 1st Competitive V Barcelona March 1960 (FC Final) 0-0 Ist League Game Sept 1960 v WBA Won 3-1. Memory being dragged out 5 mins from the end to get the 58 bus. Didn’t like that.

Favourite Player ?

Fave Player Trevor. Passed and took free kicks like Beckham, Scored like Owen with the skill of Giggs. Three in one player

Favourite Manager ?

Alex Mcleish. Top player in his day. Simply created the best team we ever had

Best Game you have ever Seen ?

Best Game Blues 4 Ipswich 1 LCSF Never tire of seeing the 4th goal by AJ

Final Words !!

I have been a fan literally since birth as my Dad played for Blues in 1943-44. After years of pleading and being told the crowds were to big I was 8 for my first & second visit. Ironically  v Barca I was stuck on my Dads Shoulder because of the crush.!

Monday nights show is going to be a great one.
