Blues 4 AllOn our next show 15/03/2021 we welcome a BCFC Defender and Fan who has fought the COVID scheme.
1st up we have Kevin Ashley. Kevin was born in Kings Heath on 31st December 1968 and started his footballing career as a YTS player at Birmingham. Whilst at Birmingham Kevin went on to make 66 1st team appearances across all competitions. Kevin scored a single goal during his stay but was more known for his hard no nonsense style of play. Whilst playing at right back played alongside Vince Overson, Ian Clarkson and John Frain.
In 1990 Kevin was sold for £500’000 to Wolves where he went on to make a further 88 appearances before moving to Peterborough and a Loan to Doncaster. Eventually Kevin had to stop playing whilst at non-league Paget Rangers due to injury.
Our Fan Cam this week is the one and only Leighton Webster. Tilton Talk Show was made aware of Leighton in June 2020 after his 59 day fight in intensive Care due to COVID. Leighton received support from bluenoses far and wide along with Players. We at Tilton Talk Show also arranged for a personal call from Robbie Savage after he had appeared on the show. Leighton joins us as he is preparing for a charity walk to give a little back to those who supported him and his family during his fight. You can support Leighton by donating on the following link –
