First 70 minutes were brilliant, there were still one or two hairy moments, but overall massive improvement. Laird was in a class of his own. Still not convinced about Burke, but give him benefit of doubt, possibly still not 100% fit, still rusty and lacking game time. Can’t wait to see Hall, T Roberts, Bucannon and Anderson added for selection. Then came the substitutions. Did we send enough players on ? and did Ipswich send on too many players on. I was convinced for the last 20 mins they played with 15 and we had 9, it certainly felt that way. Longelo is not a full back, winger maybe.
