MY THOUGHTS ON THE GAME
A very professional performance from Amy and the girls in Blue we showed are intensity from the get-go scoring in the second minute with Chelsea Cornet heading home from a Sarri corner. I was worried about this game cause the FA Cup always brings these banana skin ties and a few years ago will played MK Dons and left it late to beat them. So, I was really impressed on how professional we were and deserved to go through to the next round of the Adobe Women’s FA Cup. And it was great to see some of our new faces getting off the mark especially a player I got so much respect for in Shanade Hopcroft I think her experience could be key in us winning the title as she has done it for Crystal Palace winning the championship we need players like that when the going gets tough we got players like Shanade Martha Harris who have won the league title to keep are cool head and get the team to focus. Like I said a million times there be plenty of twists and turns from now to the end of the season we need to be consistent starting next week against Portsmouth.
MY PLAYER OF THE MATCH
I have to go for Lily Crosthwaite I don’t know what to say about her another goal and assist today and like I said at the beginning of the season she will be so important for us on the success of the club she is someone I admired at Durham and now in a Blues shirt you can see she is enjoying it and long may it continue well done Lily.
UP NEXT
We will be playing against Portsmouth on Saturday evening and the kick off will be at 17:15pm
