MY THOUGHTS ON THE GAME

A brilliant result for Amy’s Blues to beat one of our Promotion rivals convincing is what we want and what was great to see Bristol City & Newcastle United were the teams that beat us last season and we put nine goals past team this season it shows the ruthlessness from Amy & the team. Congratulations to Neve Herron who made her 50th appearance for Blues today a person that knows what it means to be Blue always gives her all and a fantastic player and no doubt there will be a senior Lionesses call up in the not-so-distant future. Another one that deserves massive credit and Amys got the best of is Rebecca Holloway I think last season and the beginning of this season she has been our most consistent player she always gives her all in a blues shirt and it’s great to see becks playing like this. The goal scorers’ back-to-back goals for Sarri and a great fisher today. Lily two in two at home for her and also two in two for Louis. And it was great to see Oceane getting her first in Blue too.

MY PLAYER OF THE MATCH

I have to go for Lily Crosthwaite she was absolutely outstanding today I said in my season preview getting Lily to club was the best piece of business in the long term I always admired her at Durham especially when she played against us last season her pace causes nightmares for defenders and it’s great to see her start so well for Blues.
