Blues fans on the Tilton Talk Group react to the home defeat to Hull City

Awful, no other word for it. Deeney was non existent, defence was useless, Chong was awful and I have no idea why people think Hannibal is amazing?
We are missing Hogan and Dean massively.
We are playing like a team who want to be relegated.
Before everybody says Bellingham needs a run in the team, he is not the answer either.

Worse than Burnley. Can’t pass, can’t keep the ball. We need Dean back.

Sometimes you get what you deserve. Yep, nothing. KRO

Danger of having a thin squad is being exposed.. The loss of Hogan and Harlee has unsettled us, coupled with inevitable tiredness. I’d give J.James a run now.

Need an injection of enthusiasm from the January window. Don’t want to say it but maybe time to look behind us as usual. Probably punching above our weight in the first half of the season but need to get everyone back together again and work hard to turn this mini slump around lost 3 in a row earlier in the season and looks like we could do it again with Boro coming to town next game. KRO

From the get go we just didn’t look connected, and near the end we just looked so tired… Well another loss at home hopefully start of 2023 will c a win on the cards…

Just didn’t get going. Seem a tired side. Second half change was good and early. Made a difference. Let’s hope we put a run together in 2023.

This is exactly what we are, a bang average team. The closeness of the league this season has given a false impression of any sort of achievement, roll on our usual position of 18th

  1. Just back from game and it was a dreadful display from all of the Team from the very start to the finish. No urgency, outfought and out thought too.l think we are playing the wrong system for the players we have,we are getting out fought in midfield nearly every game so why persist with 3 at the back ??? Eustace keeps saying that he is bringing the young players on gradually but he is not playing them.James needs a extended run in the team,Hall when fit and we are definitely missing Hogan.I have said it a thousand times but we should not be relying on so many loan players,a couple maybe but not five, nurture our own players for heaven sake and where is Nico Gordon??? We are scoring hardly any goals from midfield, two all season,1 each from Hall and Bacuna and that is simply not good enough.I really don’t fancy our chances against Middlesbrough where we will come up against Riley McGree who we had on loan and had the chance to buy but couldn’t afford him and who is playing superbly for them.Relegation form I’m afraid.

  2. Think the world Cup has impacted us, but I gave confidence we will turn it round. Would like to see a little rotation in the middle with James and Bellingham given more time, after what has been a full on time for KB, Chong and Megbri. Two wins on the bounce and we are in the play off picture, so no panic or negativity here
