Awful first half display, acceptable second half. Turned on two pieces of skill- Bacuna’s shot and goal, JJ starting and finishing the move for the winner. Still didn’t look very good overall, but the three points were what mattered today to arrest the slide down the table.

Poor performance overall, outplayed by a team with one win all season for long periods. However the team stuck in there and built on Bacca’s great strike. Good three points but need to start playing better and playing in the opponents half rather than our own.

Awful first half, bit better 2nd half. Struggled with even the simplest of passes and gave away possession easily, and offensively created little. All about the result though. MoM a tough one, Laird was decent again so maybe him. I know people’s opinion of Bannon, but he was the only player on the pitch that showed any ability today.
Better second half. Good when we move the ball quickly and are positive. Laird MoM for me đź’™

the 3 points will overshadow the poor performance against really woeful opponents. First half was abysmal and we were fortunate to go in all square. we improved for 15 minutes in the 2nd half then seemed to revert back to our first half performance. Bacuna scored a great goal but his poor passing and showboating instead of doing the simple thing really does annoy me .JJ took his goal well although he should have scored with his initial shot . Defense wise I dont think we looked very comfortable and against better teams we would have lost today. It’s 3 much needed points and let’s hope it gives everyone confidence to improve.

If you cast your mind back this was a typical Eustace performance , i think that confirms this bunch of players are incapable of playing any other way ,that is why they are playing in this league . Rooney must know this and also realises total change is necessary hence the “project” that we are constantly told about . The squad needs to be upgraded to sustain the club in a higher level ,can you honestly see this team challenging for promotion ?
Buchanan best on field,ok sort of performance,Bacuna a luxury we really can’t afford but sometimes like today he contributed the goal.Dont think Sanderson looks the same since Ruineys been here.James should really start.
