Brilliant result in the end and fully deserved. We definitely need more penetration and move the ball a bit quicker but I’m sure that will come, looks like the way CD has us set up it might be easier to get results away from Home-such is the pressure at St Andrews to beat teams into submission.
But we are getting there.

Deserved win on balance of play. We made heavy weather of it, but our ‘never say die’ attitude will stand us in good stead. Would like us to be more direct at times; Wigan did at times and it was dangerous. Peacock-Farrell concerns me. Would like to see Allsop replace him. MOTM Klarer – his calmness on the ball and his passing through the channels is consistently good. Glad we managed to keep Paiky – again a calm head and good ball-player. With another 6 matches under our belts, hope our best starting 11 will be clearer.
