Fans reaction Stockport v Blues
Stockport were by far the better side in terms of tactics, coaching and threatened from all set pieces. Willumson must be rested as he held up nothing and Leonard offers far more. Performances are getting poorer by the game. Mom May for constant running
……….
Lucky to get a point second half performance .
Great defensively – need more going forward !

………..
Blues TV kept freezing so I watched Stockport’s commentary, before kick off, “this is a free hit for us today, our best players out injured, we’ll be lucky to get anything today” 😳
…………
Klarer M.O.T.M for me. The back 5 were brilliant. Midfield looked tired, and we missed Keshi
…………
Thought we’d find it hard-going today, so grateful for the point. Feel we need more physicality. Missing the width provided by Keshi who also runs at opposition. Good to see Wright back. We’ll need him to help carve out chances.
………..
First half we should have kept going. Subs just aren’t having the impact needed. We need a plan b which I can’t see atm. Are we being figured out? Miss Keshi. Whoever built a stand without a roof was silly! 🤣 we KRO!
………..
Thank goodness for Klarer and his late block for keeping us in the game and giving us a point.
…………
Well taken goal from Alfie otherwise we were poor today against an opponent totally up for it especially in the second half, our Midfield was practically non existent this afternoon and as I indicated in an earlier post a few months ago this Tippy Tappy football around our Penalty Box almost cost us today only for Klarer tackle to save a certain goal.We need to adapt our play once Teams like Blackpool and Stockport suss us out with their high press and going Man for Man.
Anyway, like the other day it’s a definite point gained on our quest to the Championship, hopefully.
Keep Right On
A very happy New Year to all Bluenoses Worldwide.
………..
Poor 2nd half going forward, defence battled well.
Possession obsession nearly cost us with Bieleks appalling back pass.
MotM . Klarer.
………….
Don’t understand how we fell apart second half . Why can’t we pas the ball Keep giving them the ball . We should be beating this team 2 draws now . Not good enough to win this league . So fustrating Watching this cabbage 😡😡
……….
A hard fought point away from home.
Great defensive display today up until the equaliser.
MOTM: Bielik
………..
A very frustrating and stressful game to view
We take the lead I was hoping team would go on the attack for more goals, instead Stockport had a right go no sitting back
From them,it’s as if we were setting for them having the possession, blues didn’t sustain
Any decent periods of attack, flat just like the Crawley Burton Blackpool games.
Positives blues are joint top with wycombe
Hoping for better attacking prowess!
………
What concerns me is this squad is hopefully going to compete in the championship which with the last 2 draws is a worry.

Blues looking tired and with wide players out injured, we played too narrow at times. Lacked the energy second half. Also, our bench lacked pace to make an impact when we needed to make changes. It looks as though we need some fresh legs in the transfer window and wide players are key.
I keep saying this Tippy tappy football don’t work,we ain’t Man city and even they are getting found out , These players need to get it you don’t score from your own half, and why do they pass to players facing back towards their own goal,I am sorry to say that CD ,needs to look at this type of tactics won’t work if Blues go up .please please get rid of Dych and Harris .
Another Binary performance it’s either 0 or 1. Needs to get much better.

Top of the league , 50 points at the half way point , what is everyone moaning at ? Have we suddenly become this team that every other team just rolls over for us ? 10 games unbeaten with 2 draws come on lads get a grip ! What is this “ Plan B “ that all the experts are going on about ? You know the plan that only they know that CD with all his experience doesn’t !
Well said Mick
Mick, Russell Martin knew it all, didn’t have alternative ways of playing which misguided, according to your assessment, proponents said were needed. They were needed, apparent to the vast majority except Martin, who subsequently lost his job. If we continue to get 5 points from 3 games then we’ll finish with about 88, probably a play-off place the way that other teams are going. This squad has cost around £20m, far more than that of any other club in the division and yet we are being outplayed by supposed journeymen. Including the Stockport game, we have now been out-coached by about eight managers. Teams of far more prosaic players are creating more scoring opportunities than we are, seem to have at least two players of pace who help to turn solid defence into rapid, direct attack. I don’t have an expectation of high scoring performances every game but Wycombe, little Wycombe, with nous in acquisition and tactics, have a goal difference which is three better than ours. It seems that the acquisition of players for our squad has not been as well balanced as that of some other clubs and our tactics haven’t matched, on many occasions, those of oppositions who are, on paper, fielding inferior teams. That has been due to coaching by managers whose “experience “ includes many years playing professional football, learning by doing so to how to assess required tactics to counter what the opposition is doing, and taking on board those adjustments to systems from managers who had previously done the same. Every team in Division 1 has had the same hectic schedule and yet, coping with injuries themselves, teams of trekking ponies are being schooled to cause more problems for our thoroughbreds than we are to them. Don’t forget, we could, and should, have lost the recent drawn match at home and that would give us a potential of 80 points at the end of the season if this form is continued. And form can worsen as well as improve.
In my opinion we shouldn’t have bought Stanfield. We were playing well until he came along. Too much money paid for him. For twelve million or whatever he should be scoring many more. His passing is not good. He runs around but we want goals not a marathon man.
50 points second only on goal difference wake up we are not Real Madrid only way is up K.R.O
