MY THOUGHTS ON THE GAME
I never been so disappointed at a performance but yesterday was so frustrating the goals were avoidable especially Nobbs no one wanted to go out to her to stop the shot going into the back of the net and if you look at Tanya Oxtoby’s squad they were fighting for everything defending for their lives and wanted that win and we were powder puff at best especially when we did have chances the power in the shots were easy for Anna Tamminen apart from one Lily Crosthwaite shot which was a decent save but bar that it was the most easiest of nights for the Newcastle goalkeeper.
Yes people are calling the manager to go but the players mentality I would question even more and also the recruitment needs to be question letting two of our players of the season from the past four years go in Jade Pennock & Lily Agg I know Lily is still a blues player technically but I can’t see her staying at the end of this season and I don’t blame her like I said if we getting rid of these players I rather have players from the WSL or WSl2 to improve us then getting players from a foreign climate to adapted into are game especially in January.
Players need to look at themselves and say do I want to be here cause after last nights performance there don’t represent my club fighting for my badge and leaving it all out there Agg did that Pennock did that Jade Moore Jo Potter the list go’s on those players knew what is like to represent the club and more importantly the fans.
Lets hope the players understand what it means to where that shirt with pride like us fans do.
MY PLAYER OF THE MATCH
Jordan Nobbs her leadership and her quality for that goal was amazing.
