After the disappointment of the result against London City some blues fans could have been worrying against an undefeated Bristol City side who have been in my view the team to beat for the title and who have outstanding since the beginning of the season, but this blues side have got fight and believe in the squad finally also great to see Layla Banaras who made it into the matchday squad a proud moment for her and her family.

After that blues went onto the counterattack when a mix up in the Bristol City defence gave Lucy Quinn a golden chance to make it 0-1 for blues but her shot rolled across the face of the goal. Then it was Bristol City’s turn to go at Blues when Aimee Palmer’s brilliant ball into the box see’s Abi Harrison glancing volley was easily saved from Lucy Thomas in the 27th minute. The last chance in the half came to blues when Lucy Quinn wins the ball back high up the park but her shot in the area misses the bottom corner.
