So another weekend has passed and as the anthem states we had Joys and sorrows. Saturday started with the march for Arthur. Over 1000 fans taking to the streets from Birmingham city centre, through Digbeth and all the way to St Andrews pausing on one occasion in-front of a giant billboard.
Blues V Cardiff, Fans Verdict
Some of the thoughts and opinions from fans on the Tilton Talk Show group page, as Blues throw away a 2 goal lead against Cardiff City. Mick Greaves Just bloody Gutted Richard Bamber Conceded another set piece. Maybe could have changed shape gone four at back as we was looking nervy since they scored their […]
A march and a candle for Arthur!
We all continue in disbelief at the way young Arthur Labinjo-Hughes was treated and as a family how the sports teams across the country came together last week for a 6th Minute applause. This week though is our chance as a family driven club and fans to show our respects for Arthur.
Masks, Vax and Passports..
Watto’s Weekly The latest announcement regarding how we are going to have to attend all sporting events with more than 4000 in attendance, comes into effect after the Cardiff City’s visit on Saturday. The Omicron strand of Covid apparently will voluntarily keep clear of St Andrews until Wednesday. It will then invade every stadium in […]
Possible additions
Its safe to say that Birmingham Citys squad is in need of a few additions. Attacking options are at the moment limited. That could also include midfield and defence! Into the Lion’s Den
Finding myself on the train to Liverpool Lime Street around 1.00 pm last Saturday when I should have been arriving at New Street was a bit disconcerting. (My apologies to Women’s players and officials. I know little of the women’s game and my remarks may well not apply to them.)
BERTIE AULD. BLUES FIRST ICONIC STAR. RIP ‘WEE MAN
In an international week there is often little to discuss. So, if you disregard our injury problems and the greatest goal ever disallowed so ludicrously in international football, we are not left with much.
Thanks a bunch Blues
What a weekend we had last week. My normal 200-mile trip to St Andrews was interrupted by a tweet from the club. It said “Would all Blues fans please cease their journey as we cannot guarantee the match will commence” I was 150 yards from the ground on the 97 bus !
Injuries mounting up
Well, what a difference a week makes? Since my last literary contribution 6 points ,5 goals, 2 clean sheets and an upsurge in position in an ever-contracting table. Only 3 points outside the playoffs, although we would need at least a 3-goal win to get in there.
