  • Sunderland play Blues Women and Smackem

Blues first defeat at St Andrews in the league this season came this after against a really good Sunderland and the gaffer Mel Reay her and her team deserve all the credit today Blues on the another hand won’t at the races today . The only positive’s about today’s game is Harriett Scott getting her 100th appearance for the Blues and the return of Martha Harris coming back from her injury.

  • Blues Blunt the Blades

Blues climb to 4th in the championship after a gritty 1-0 win against a really impressive Sheffield United who deserve more from the game. Claudia Walker played her first game back for blues after signing from West Ham and has already got her name on the scoresheet, which have delighted the blues fans their this afternoon.

  • Blues tame the terriers and into the next round

The Women in Royal Blue booked themselves in the 4th round of the F.A Cup Sunday afternoon after a comfortable win against Huddersfield Town and didn’t really look in trouble at any point. Blues secured a 4th Round game with Everton away from home on the January 29th.

  • back to back defeats in the conti cup

Blues suffer back to back defeats in the Conti Cup and are out finishing bottom of the group this afternoon and a sour taste for the end of 2022 former bluenose Sarah Ewen’s double gave the victory for the team down south and to be fair their fully deserved it .

  • Blues nailed by the Hammers

Blues first defeat in the Conti Cup against West Ham was disappointing but if you look at the stats blues had more shots on target more shots than the WSL side, so it is not so disappointing then it seems.

  • The Blues end up singing “Rockin Robin”

After the disappointment of the result against London City some blues fans could have been worrying against an undefeated Bristol City side who have been in my view the team to beat for the title and who have outstanding since the beginning of the season, but this blues side have got fight and believe in the squad finally also great to see Layla Banaras who made it into the matchday squad a proud moment for her and her family.

  • Blues Women have more Steel and blunt the Blades

A come back from behind win for the girls in royal blue against a really good Sheffield United got blues right back on track in a tight game against United

  • Southampton’s Port of call was a step to far for Blues

A really disappointing night in Southampton and frustrating performance from the girls in Royal Blue yet again it was about what if’s then clinical finishing which cost us the game against a very good Southampton team.

  • 3 points going into the Conti Cup break as the opponents are sent to Coventry

A huge day for me going with my dad to see the girls in royal blue play for the first since the Covid Pandemic. It was great going back to St Andrews and finally supporting the girls and the majority of the game I was impressed. There is still work to do especially in the defensive area where we currently have a centre midfield playing as a Centre back.

  • Blues taught a lesson in finishing

A tough day for Blues Women this afternoon at the valley with a ruthless Charlton Athletic getting the better of the girls in Royal Blue. Blues changed their formation with Mollie Green playing has one of the three centre backs with Tara Bourne and Martha Harris out of the squad. Darren also gave a debut to Charlie Estcourt.
