Derby 2 Birmingham 2. Be honest prior to the game would that not have been an acceptable result? For 70 minutes the fact we played Derby off the park so much that the Sky-Sports Wayne Rooney love-in were coughing and spluttering onto their Ram shaped scripts. Black Cats bring Blues luck
On Sunday Lucy Whipp helped BCFC Ladies through to the next round of the women’s FA Cup after coming up against a very tough black cats side. Sunderland started the game well and had the first shot of the game from Maria Farrugia from the left side of the box. Blues finally settled down and came back into the game with Emily Whelan had her shot blocked from 35 yards out. Sunderland again came back into the game with Holly Manders Right foot shot being easily dealt with.

I wanted to get my article in early this week as things are changing by the second. I also wanted to wait until the Preston result was known. Things always seem different after a decent performance. Pride, Passion, backing and #BSHLOUT
This weekend, the team showed the pride and passion for the shirt that we had been missing. It was great to see that despite being 1 goal down, we didn’t give up and in the end got what was deserved.

After the unbelievable effort from the girls last week beating the gunners you thought we go into this game in confidence but yet again we look a lack of confidence after the first goal went in.
