Blues have today announced the sale of Tahith Chong to Luton for an undisclosed fee and the arrival of Siriki Dembele.

Tahith Chong

Tahith leaves blues after 60 appearances scoring 5 goals for an undisclosed fee. Chong joined permanently last season after a loan spell from Manchester United. His technical skills and ability on the ball made him an instant hit with fans. He moves to Luton after being a nemesis to them and having arguably his best game in Blue and white. We all wish Tabith the best at his new club.

Welcome Siriki Dembele

The rumoured permanent signing of Dembele was announced this morning also. Joining on a three year contract from Bournemouth the pacey winger has said he is excited and is looking forward to being part of great times.

Dembele has a great pedigree and experience in the league after winning it with Bournemouth and then being part of the squad that maintained top flight football. He made 37 appearances and contributed 10 goals during his last spell in the championship.

This shows again the intent to bring exciting football back to the club by the new owners and we all look forward to seeing it.

Welcome and KRO Siriki from all at Tilton Talk.

  1. Welcome Siriki A brilliant signing he can score and assist he is also very quick and a skilful player its starting to look good now very good

  2. At least we have been able to buy Sanderson with the cash we had from Chong which is a bonus.l was never fully on board with Chong, thought he lost a yard of pace after his injury when he was initially on loan and never quite the same when he came back and not a game changer like George Hall.Dembele has a lot to prove and the majority of his time has been spent in League 1 and he never got too much playing time at Bournemouth so I’m not getting too excited about him at the moment.Laird had a great season at QPR and l think he will be a great addition.Roberts and the Japanese Lad are potentially good signings but will need to show consistancy.l think all the signs are that Eustace will be going for 3 at the back again as opposed to 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1 which l think would be more suited to us. which
