So we have been asking for a left back and the club has now delivered after announcing the signing of Lee Buchanan from Werder Bremen on a five year contract.
The left back joins after spending a short period in Germany following a move from Derby County . Buchanan was named best young rookie in August last year and went on to represent Bremen 23 times scoring during his third game.
Described as a pacey left back who likes a 121 challenge and moving forwards Buchanan joins Blues as their 9th signing of the window

Really excited about signing Lee Buchanan. I thought he was signing for another Championship club after recent media reports.
Lee comes with a good pedigree.
