Tilton Talk Shows Blues Ladies updates are sponsored by Garrison Coffee Company Finally blues got their second win of the season after a double from Louise Quinn, following Player of the […]

  • The Toffees prove to be sticky

Birmingham avoided defeat on Friday for just the third time this WSL season, but their draw against Everton does little in their fight to avoid relegation. In a game where you can see both sides where lacking in confidence up front the better chances were coming from the visitors. In the 11th minute Leonie Maier (Everton Women) left footed shot from outside the box is high and wide to the left of the goal.

  • Chelsea put in a 5 star performance

Goals from Magdalena Eriksson, Drew Spence , Beth England 2 and Niamh Charles helped Chelsea to a place in the last four of this season’s Ladies FA Cup.

  • Are Blues now beaten

Yet again another defeat in a tight game but

  • Blues Outgunned by sublime Gunners

A brave performance from blues on Sunday but again nothing to show from it. Blues looked solid to start of with but once that first goal went in it was writing on the wall at Borehamwood .

  • Quarter Finals here we come !!

Finally some good news. Blues are through to the quarter finals of the fa cup after a brave battling performance against a stubborn Durham team.

  • A gutsy performance but the class shone through

It looks like its all over for blues in the WSL after another loss against spurs who were too powerful in the end. I'm worried about the future of this great club but then again not surprised given the close scrapes that we have had over the past few years.

  • The heart, the Passion but not the result

Sunday brought a must win game to the Blues ladies again fellow strugglers Leicester City. After a nervy start by Blues they began to take some control but with very few chances.

  • Black Cats bring Blues luck

On Sunday Lucy Whipp helped BCFC Ladies through to the next round of the women's FA Cup after coming up against a very tough black cats side. Sunderland started the game well and had the first shot of the game from Maria Farrugia from the left side of the box. Blues finally settled down and came back into the game with Emily Whelan had her shot blocked from 35 yards out. Sunderland again came back into the game with Holly Manders Right foot shot being easily dealt with.

  • A Dream Start but a nightmare finish

A fantastic game but yet again blues collapsed. It started so well with Gemma Lawley getting on the end of a brilliant Lucy Quinn header for her first blues goal. 3 mins in and things looked rosie.
