It was a stupid deal to start with and I’m not surprised at the ending of this saga.
I believe the deal couldn’t proceed further without additional investors. Perhaps this was the meaning of “we decided not to proceed further at this time”?
Reading through various reports however, someone other than Richardson and Lopez was funding the stadium repairs. The question is who?
