Every little helps

You may all have seen that our friends at Accessiblues have launched a charity drive to help fund a headstone for Jake. Friend of the show Debbie Foster has now lost two sons to mitochondrial disease which is an awful debilitating condition. ๐Ÿ’” Every 30 minutes a child is born who will develop mitochondrial disease by age 10.

How Mitochondrial Disease Affects the Body

The parts of your body that need the most energy โ€“ heart, brain, muscles โ€“ are most affected by mitochondrial disease. An affected individual may exhibit a spectrum of symptoms including developmental delays, dementia, migraines, seizure, stroke and atypical cerebral palsy.

Debbie puts herself on a guilt trip everyday, no mother should ever have to bury their child let alone two. So we at Tilton Talk Show would like to support Debbie and Rob raise funds for a headstone for Jake. Starting tomorrow we are running a series of auctions for items ranging from Signed books by Jon Berry through to limited edition Tilton Talk T-shirts. We also have a one off painting that Peaky Blinders fans will love kindly donated by Karen Rose. If you wish to bid for any of the items then please contact Craig. Contact via email Craig.Courtney@tiltontalk.com or message on Facebook with your offers. You can also donate by selecting the link below
