Blues have today announced that Kevin Long has agreed a 12 month contract with an option of a further years option. This is subject to FA and league confirmation.

Long joined blues in January and whilst starting shakily he went on to have 20 appearances and scored 2 goals.

Long has a great level of experience in the league securing promotion with Burnley and will be a great asset to the squad.

Kevin has said

Coming into the summer, I was out of contract, there were other offers on the table but I just think that I enjoyed my time here, I enjoyed working under the Gaffer and enjoyed working with the players. After weighing it up, I thought I would be happy going back and making more progress.

This is another step forwards in the squad rebuild and looking forward is another positive step forwards for the team.
